Unsealed concrete soaks up moisture, damaging liquids, road salts and grime. During winter that moisture freezes, causing the concrete to expand and crack. Come spring, you are left with ugly cracked concrete.
Concrete sealers are applied to protect against cracking and surface damage we commonly know as spalling/scaling. The sealers also help protect your concrete against salt exposure, staining, spills and corrosion.
Topical, film forming sealers work by blocking the pores of the concrete on the surface to reduce absorption of water and other damaging liquids/salts.
Penetrating sealers are absorbed into the concrete to create an impermeable layer to prevent surface damage. Our specialists will be able to determine which sealer will work best for your project.
